3 – 5 large apples
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup (100g) AJ’s Brown Sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Flaky pie crust (Blätterteig works well)
Preheat the oven to 220 °C
Core, peel and slice the apples.
In a large bowl, stir together the apple slices, the cinnamon, lemon juice and the brown sugar.
Fill a 9 inch (22 cm) pie tin with pie crust, bake the empty shell for 5 min in the hot oven.
Remove the pie crust from the oven and fill with apple mixture, it should be heaping...
